House Rules:

  • Card being chased: ACE OF SPADES.
  • Events will take place every Friday at the LSCU Complex in La Salle.
  • When a participant chooses the ace of spades from the deck of cards, they will win the entire accumulating grand prize jackpot PLUS 10% of that night*s ticket sales.
  • Ticket cost: $2 each or $5 for 10 tickets (individuals may purchase as many tickets as they want at this price point).
  • Tickets will be on sale every Friday from 5:00pm to 7:30pm.
  • 25,000 tickets will be available for purchase each Friday.
  • Building capacity is 711 people, if we exceed that number we are doing very well but would have to turn some people away at the door. NO reserved seating!
  • The draw will be held at 7:45pm each Friday.
  • The person holding the ticket corresponding to the winning entry must be present at the time of the draw on the evening that that ticket is purchased. Should that person not come forward within 10 minutes and 3 calls of the ticket number, another entry will be drawn. This process will continue until there is a valid winning ticket holder.
  • The first game will begin February 10, 2017 and will end whenever the ace of spades is drawn. Once the game is over, a new game with a new deck of cards will begin at the next scheduled event.
  • Each game will begin with a brand new deck of 52 cards. As cards are drawn from the deck, they are permanently removed from play, increasing the odds of winning as weeks pass.
  • Every Friday, the cards in the current deck will be displayed face-up for all to see. Before the selection is made, the cards will be shuffled and placed face-down.
  • The winning ticket holder will then place their finger on the card they wish to select. The card will then be confirmed and revealed to all in attendance. Participants may place their finger on the card only, they must not cut, shuffle or handle the deck in any other way.
  • Any bent or marked cards will be replaced immediately with new, identical cards.
  • 50% of all ticket sales will be retained by the LSCU Complex.
  • 10% of each event*s ticket sales will be awarded to the winning ticket holder, no matter which card is chosen.
  • 40% of all ticket sales will accumulate into the grand prize jackpot which will be awarded to the individual who selects the ace of spades.
  • "In play" cards will be secured in a locked cabinet in the LSCU Complex office. Only Bobbi-Jo Guffei, LSCU Complex Business Office Administrator and Dee Romijn, LSCU Complex Facility Manager will have access to these cards. In unforeseen circumstances, one Executive Member of the LSCU Complex Board of Directors will have access to this secure location.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older in order to participate.
