"My name is Desiree Hunt, I'm a 32 year old active Mom of 2 beautiful children.  When I was pregnant I let weight get the best of me and gained over 120 pounds between my two pregnancies!  In 2012 I decided it was time to take control of my health and fell in love with fitness.  Over two years I managed to loose 140 pounds only through proper diet and exercise, in 2014 I decided to become a canfitpro certified personal trainer and opened my instagram blog @nakedhealthjourney in hopes of helping others!  I since then have taken my canfitpro healthy weight loss nutrition course and love helping anyone willing to take on their own journey to health!  I look forward to meeting many new faces, I cannot wait to teach at the LSCU Complex this September!"

Mommy & Me

Parents and caregivers of young children often have difficulty finding time for themselves, and exercise may seem like a near impossibility.  Mommy & Me classes are a great way to get out of the house, get some exercise and make new friends.  This class is appropriate for all levels of athleticism and fitness in an atmosphere where the needs of your baby come first.  Any style of baby carrier is welcome, front or back, structured or soft, or you can even choose to bring a stroller instead. 

The purpose of the class is to help moms (or dads, or babysitters) break a sweat and feel fit again while bonding with their child.

Workouts include a mix of strength training, core work, cardio, agility and flexibility.  Each hour long class consists of a warm-up, workout and cool down.



Circuit training involves combining both cardio and resistance training in the same workout.  It alternates upper and lower body moves as well as high-intensity and lower-intensity exercises.

The workout is a challenging, total body routine!!

You burn calories and build strength, all in the same workout. This saves you time and energy while giving you an effective workout!!



A variety of low impact moves to get your heart pumping and some functional exercises to build your strength.  Class will include balance, cardio, strength, core, and flexibility training to leave you feeling 20 years younger!
